Newbie Fiberglass Question

Hello all, great site and I hope once my skills get up to par I can contribute. Currently I am in the process of replacing my stringers (foam filled) and was wondering which attaching method would be stronger: fillet or tab or both. It seems to me that tabbing the stringers in would hold better than a fillet joint or am I missing something?

seal the stringers, then clean the area well. I used epoxy and fiber matt. About a 1/3 off the way up the stringer and about the same distance on the hull. Give it a second coat the following day. It'll be strong as an ox.<br /><br />cheers
