Clearly fiberglass! No need to worry much about the cut edges. Just be sure to seal to protect for water intrusion around the perimeter of whatever you intall, as well as the screw holes, and you're good! I'd probably use 3M 4000 UV as suggested above. That way, you'll be able to get it off, if that's ever needed.

Great news!!! Thanks for confirming. Looks like this job just got much easier.

Still appreciate all the earlier advice on dealing with fasteners in a wood core, as it’s going to come up sooner or later.

Outstanding!! Appreciate you taking a look and confirming my assessment.

Will pick up a tube of 4000 today. From what I’ve read about these horns, I’ll definitely be needing to get it off again at some point… probably sooner than later…
