Welcome aboard Travis:

Against the rules to post personal information on the boards, and (IMHO) a bad idea. You may want to edit your number out there before you have it showing up in Google searches everywhere.

You can also call a marine salvage yard/liquidator. They can probably track one down for you too.

Looks like it's still available from Evinrude, give them a call. You can order it from their site too.

Hmm. Thats a tough one Tat2man. Southkogs, he's looking for the thermo housing adapter, not the thermo housing. I'll do some digging and see what I can find for you. So far only one result to the tune of $200.

http://www.greenbayprop.com/content...thermostat_housing_adapter_908728_914475.html

*Edit* Better price, if they actually have it. You will have to call them: http://www.marinepartssource.com/newdetails.asp?pnumber=OMC3853245&mfg=OMC&mfgno=3853245

*Edit* Even better price if they, of course, have it:

http://www.marineparts.com/p-30341-adapter.aspx

Also, the OMC part number 914475 was replaced by part number 3853245.

One more thing. If all of the above links are dead ends, contact these guys: http://www.sterndrive.info/id3.html they really hold down the OMC aftermarket/support out there. Im willing to bet they could get the part for you.

Well man, that's all I can find. Good luck to you. Being an OMC owner is tough sometimes.

What exactly is wrong with the one you have? Maybe a metals shop somewhere has an artisan that can rework it.
