Yes I bought that Mariner 22 in Ct. I will say to the previous owners my compliments to you in keeping her alive, but as I assumed the deck needs replacing and upgrade the wiring, fuel tank and steering eventually. The floor is out along with the foam from the back of the consol to stern including that part of fuel tank. I will have some great pictures of cross sections of what you will find. Most of the new deck is fitted 3/4 " marine plywood down the center 2 pieces, removable area for bilges. 1/2" on the sides one piece. I made templates out of 1 1/4 strips of pine for the deck profile and came out pretty damn tight as I don't plan on putting that cheasy kick plate back. I envision a narrow shelf attached to the angle iron without carpet to the floor. Paint the transom( it can be saved) and deck with Awlgrip is the plan. Sorry for being long winded but I waited what seems a life time for this project. I really wrote this letter to ask for your critism and experience. I would like to bombard you with questions on each leg of this project. Thanks in advance Steve
