I've done a search and it seems in the past they have gotton some poor reviews. It seems all the poor posts were with the single thick rotor. Is the whole system still poor? It seem like a good deal for the whole line kit, accuator and discs. In all honesty it would seem to be pretty hard to mess up something so simple. Single piston caliper and Chevy Cavalier Pads (stated on their website) I saw a post where somebody had tried to modify the accuator to work and was still having some problems, but I said heck I'm buying a new one already made for them.

Spend the extra $20 an axle and get the Kodiaks. I purchased the silver cads and upgraded to metallic pads while I was at it.

I'm using the Tiedown Model 66 Actuator with the vented reversing solenoid and get great performance out of the combo.

Ditto - Why take chances when the price difference is relatively small.

FWIW - User on another board put the SS vented tiedowns on his trailer and on the second trip(less than 700miles total) one of them siezed and the other was dragging. Customer service, warranty???? WORTHLESS!!! He ended up buying a new set of Kodiacs and now has several thousand trouble free miles.
