Just closed the deal on our boat for next season. 2012 VTX with 85 hours or so. Still need to sell the Bayliner, but that should go pretty easy in the spring. Now I can just stare at pictures until spring when we can actually use it.

Wow! That's one helluva step up from a Bayliner to a Malibu! Congratulations! :thumb:

OK, I'm jealous. Looks great.

Get surfboard, serious fun and great for old knees like mine.

The bayliner has been a great boat, and if it had more power and a little smoother wake I'd keep it for another 9 years. But since we were upgrading we decided to get what we really wanted and happened to luck out on a good deal about 10 miles from home.

I'm really more of a slalom skier, but we'll probably wind up with a surf board eventually.

Nice looking boat. I know the feeling of having to wait. We only got to use the new to us Crownline a couple times before the weather crapped out. I really want summer to come.

Very nice boat there Mr. Oldjeep...my only reservation in owning a dedicated wake-type boat...cost to obtain! I'm a cheap SOB!

Summer cannot come soon enough for you...time for some upgrades (as if the Malibu needs any?)

I used to be more of slalom skier as well, but age happened. I still love it, but after a couple of miles (literally minutes at slalom speed), I'm done. I can surf until I feel guilty I'm hogging pull time.

You are going to LOVE this boat.

Congrats! I'm shopping for a winter deal on a Cobalt at the moment. That's a great looking boat.
