NYG gave away the season. 21 pt lead with 7 min left and lost. Says alot about the character of this crew. Soft is an understatement...

Re: NFL Week 15

Angus, after seeing the end of that game I didn't expect a comment from your camp for awhile. Tough loss when NY dominated...

We have to wait until tomorrow nite. Brett's out, TJ too for the season. That leaves Webb(who?) and he's had hammy problems. Last I heard Peterson was questionable.

Bears have a great shot to win the division. Should walk all over Mn. Packers have their hands full with NE especially with Rodgers out.

as a fan of the recipient, I can only say thank you. I quess if the Eagles are only going to play one quarter of football I'm glad it was the fourth.

Jackson is going to say that he was trying to run out the clock, not being an a**.

I think he should be fined a complete game check by the Eagles.
Of course the Giants player standing next to him should have tried to tackle him.

RE: Monday night, I don't know if I can watch a game when it's that cold.
I just hope no one gets hurt.

I didn't get to see the Stillers give this one away, I was cleaning my "new" car. But it's obvious to me that they HAVE TO HAVE Troy Polamalu in the lineup to win.

Ok, it's the NFL, so "any given Sunday...", but I think it's pretty obvious by now that the AFC has better teams than the NFC. Steelers over Falcons, (much earlier this season, I know), Ravens over Saints, Patriots over Packers, Patriots over Bears (a beating, btw) the list of the "best" NFC teams being beaten by AFC teams goes on.
Eagles "may" have a chance, if Vick continues to play out of this world.

The AFC south/west have nothing, north is marginal. Even tho NE coulda, shoulda lost last nite they are still the team to beat IMO.

The NFC west is pathetic. Good chance the division winner will have a losing record. North has nothing and the east has Philly. Vick is too erratic. He's not going to get away with a comeback like he did yesterday in the playoffs. The south has Atlanta who quietly only lost 2 games.

I'm just glad I'm not a bettin' man. The "any given Sunday" scenario is more prevelant this year than ever and will probably carry into the playoffs.

Next, the Vikings with a 3rd string quaterback will beat the Bears.

What embarrassing display the NYG put on yesterday, it's right up there with the Handy years. Mistake after mistake after mistake to me is a sign the coaching staff doesn't motivate the team and hasn't instilled a sense of discipline. Eli is not an Offensive Team leader and a waste of $92M, highest interception rate in the league and we gave away Rivers for him? Total collpase by him and the offense in the second half. The Special Team is the worst in the NFL and to top it off we never know what defense will play 60 minutes. Time to say thanks to Coughlin and bring in Bill Cowers.

Yeah, unless the Bears learned something about playing in the snow in the Patriot debacle.

Joe Pisarcik, is that you? Randall Cunningham bouncing off of Carl Banks to throw a TD pass, and now this. Eagles in the Meadowlands, It makes my head hurt.
A few first downs in the fourth quater would of helped, how does KillsDrives keep his job? Oh yea, I saw the onside kick coming, I'm not that smart, how did the Giants coaches not suspect it?

Re: NFL Week 15

Other than the dog stuff, I love Michael Vick. All I can say is WOW.. He has elevatd my fantasy footall team into the finals. I knocked off my son who was 10-3 going into the playoffs and I was 6-7.

Now being a lifelong vikes fan, I can honestly say that I am looking forward to tonights game for totally differnt reasons than the rest of the Vikes games I have watched.

This will be a spectacle. Maybe not in the good sense, but at least the first half will be entertaining. With 6+ inches expected by game time, in an outdoor stadium they have never played in, with a totally unknown quarterack starting, with an even more unknown backup, I think spectacle is the only word for it.

If you are going to want the BEST coach available, then you need to learn how to spell and pronounce Bill Cowher's name. There's an 'h' after the 'w' and no 's' on the end. I can't help you pronounce it like a Pittsburgher, but I can tell you that it almost doesn't have the second syllable.

As far as Michael Vick, this is the best he's ever played. I always thought that he wasn't a very good QB and couldn't believe it when Atlanta signed him to that huge contract. Hard to image that 2 years off and prison time makes you a better QB, but apparently it does?!

Patriots had their fans worried through the whole game. The Packers played a much better game then the Pats, inxspearience QB and Green Bays coaches not giving the QB 2 plays cost them the game.

GO PATS!!

Re: NFL Week 15

Unfortunately it was a busy day for me yesterday and I only saw the last quarter of the NE/GB game. Young QB mistake ... not knowing how to take control of the game in the last minute ... cost GB that game. They really outplayed Brady & Co on both sides of the ball.

As for the Stillers, well, Tilliam is right, we need Troy or we cannot win. Our defense is only marginal at best without him. If he does not get healthy, we are hurting in the playoffs.

Tonites game should be interesting but I believe my boy's DA BEARS wills prevail on the concreate. and hats off to the packs rookie game well played but not enough against Brady luv em hate em thier the best right now!!!. Mike Vick and eagles are on a roll he is undoubtably the most electrifying QB since Cunningham and for the same team. The Giants need to be holding thier heads low that game should have been over period you can not underestimate Vick at anytime no matter what the score didn't they see him put up what 35 ponts in 1 quarter a month ago say what you want about him but he is becoming if not already a complete QB and getting better.

:)......:D

Bears are the first to clinch!!

I feel pretty bad for the packers. I still thing they are a better team (with Rodgers).

I think Favre is getting ready to run for office  Did you see his press conference?
