Re: NFL Week 7

How about Cedric Benson and the Bengals killing Da Bears??

That would be somewhat enjoyable, except that keeps the Bungles tied with (but actually in front of) the Steelers at the top of the AFC (Central) North. Oh, and it would help me locally if the Bears suceeded and the Packers did not, but of course the Clowns couldn't handle the Pack.

Re: NFL Week 7

Earlier today I would say they are the class of the AFC North, but the Bengals looked PERFECT.

I am doubting my Ravens even MAKE the playoffs now...

The Bungles scare me more than a little.

I wouldn't throw in the towel on your Ravens yet. They have potential. And every real team in the AFC North is better than every other AFC team, except for maybe the Colts and the Patriots (and maybe maybe maybe Denver).

Of coure they have potential, 11 points and they would be undefeated, but small plays, and finishing games are MANDATORY. Our secondary is terrible! Our offense is dare I say it great!
We would need them to beat the Steelers twice, and I doubt that happens. Maybe we get one, and do we even beat the Bengals next time we play, who really knows.
Tough schedule ahead too.

I still love them, win or lose, and years from now we will be talking about the QB and RB we got in the same draft. Those guys are great!

Any team whose defense scores 2 touchdowns SHOULD win the game.

Go Vikes!!!!!

6-1 now. Here We Go Steelers Here We Go! (Oh your team's 6-1 record just happens to be the Steelers' record in Super Bowls!)

Vikes are 0-4 in superbowls, thanks for bringing that up.

Perhaps a preview of the next SB....

Re: NFL Week 7

they had two lucky bounces, leading to two touchdowns in the fourth, How does that make them better?

Um, read the scoreboard.
Plus the vikes were on the 2 yard line, 1st and goal and couldn't punch it in. I HATE the Steelers, and I can honestly say they were the much better team.

When Skargo realizes something that profound, you know it's the truth! :)

Lucky bounces my foot. If the bounces had gone the other way, you'd whooping and hollering that the Vikes are the greatest team ever. Sorry, the better "team" won. Period

(Skargo, I hate the Ravens (the Real Browns) more than you hate the Steelers! he he he)

I agree, great game.:(

Vikes had their chances. Steelers are a good team.

Not that it matters now. But if the Vikes would have fallin' on the fumble by Big Ben towards the end instead of trying to pick it up and be a hero, they might have had a different outcome. I was expressing my displeasure at the tv at that point. O'well. Coulda, shoulda, woulda....... Bring on Lambeau!!!!

No, I wouldn't. Its a long season.

I do like the banter though.

I've moved onto next week. Lambeau Field. Favre's homecoming.

Good evening.

No luck at all, especially when the one goober knocked the ball right out of Favre's hand.

And I doubt it!

If frogs had wings they wouldn't bump their *****e$ going up the stairs :D

I think every team has "what ifs" in their seasons.

All I care about is Steve Breaston getting me a few more points so I can win my money league this week.

Re: NFL Week 7

they were the much luckier team, today.

Typical of a homer. Ignore the stats, who got it done when it mattered, and the scoreboard (let alone the 6 Super Bowl victories), yep the Vikings are the better team. I guess we'll know for sure in February.
Now I am not saying the Steelers will be winning the Super Bowl again in February, (as a matter of fact I see them losing in the first round of the playoffs, maybe missing the playoffs, if they don't get a real ground game), but I am saying "the Vikings won't win the Super Bowl, they won't even get there." There I put it in quotes so you can find it in February, if you still want to talk crazy! :)

Just like the Bears handling the Bengals...

The Saints are a MUCH better team than the Vikings, and I expect them to be representing the NFC this year.
