campbell, Your boys looked pretty good! i have to say that i counted 3 or 4 chances that truely should have been goals.. i really dont know how FLuery made the saves he did.. i mean i am glad he did but if he didnt thats a different game!

Your right we had all the chances in the world to win that game....but, that goalie was on fire, it seemed like he was a impenetrable wall, very good game. I agree the pens took their foot off the gas and coasted. As good as the canes skated it won't matter if they can't find a way to get the puck past the goalie. Hope they find a way for game 2.

Sorry TC, but I am going to hope against you ... Marc is a rock in goal. Unless he has a bad game (and he has VERY few of those) not much get's by him. The 'Canes last goal should not have been allowed since Fleury was interfered with and had to grab another stick to try to weave his magic, and he almost did!

Our boat club is havig a dock party tonight and the pens game will be on the big projection screen! So i wont be on here during the game..

Quiet night at iboats, but some noise has been made as I hear the updates! WOO-HOO! Fleury started out with a BAD 1st period ... but he came back, and so did the offense! The large lady is warming up her voice!

1st period was a shoot out!
both goalies were swiss cheese.. then they both decided to start making saves..

How about Malkin's 3rd goal ... unbelievable! Backhanded, skating away, threading the biscuit between the goalie's head and shoulder and the post! What highlight reels are made for!

Got as bit chippy in the end, went to a hockey game and a fight broke out!
