Hi,

My boat is in Moriches Bay which has a sand bar at every Bouy. (well... it seems like it anyway)The bay has an avg of 9 feet and double that near the Inlet.

I never went out after dark yet but I'm iching to. I plan on drifting while fishing so I'm guessing that its going to be difficult to see low water driving from buoy to buoy.

Question: Any tips & trick I should use to drift in the dark in 3-6 feet of water?

Thanks,
Lou

If I were going to try that I'd probably hang an anchor or two over the side to keep my prop out of the sand bars. You can just let them go a foot or so below the prop to catch you before you shore up on a mound of sand.
