I've now finished (with the help of this forum) the overhaul od a 94 evinrude 115 crossflow. Rebored, overhauled carbs, bearings seals, etc. I'm an X car mechanic, and can assure everyone that I do double check things (experience gave me a lack of desire to tear things apart again
. I'm currently trying to get it started. I've done a sinc and link as per info in Clymer manual and timmed with info from these forums. Spark is real good, fresh gas in the tank, and 120lbs of compression. I've got what I believe to be a good pulse going on from the crankcase to the vro, and have checked that fuel is getting to the carbs. But I just can't get it to run. Cranking with the key pushed in has no effect. It will crank along for a minute with narry a pop. The best I've been able to do is a few second run after misting gas into the carbs. Anyone have some advise of where to look next? Also. The power pack is a new CDI and the coils are also new
