nissan 5 hp no spark HELP!!!!

I have a 5 hp nissan 2stroke (ns5b). The motor stuck due to going into the ocean. I had a mechanic break it loose, clean the carb, new plug. He started it and it ran for a min. or two then it stoped due to no spark. He replaced the coil and the brain. Now still no spark. Does anyone have a solution how to get a spark? <br />IT'S not the kill switch. I wish it was that easy!!!!

check the energizer coil under flywheel

He would probably get even better results if he answered it over 10 years ago.....
