How do I identify how old a Nissan 8 HP motor is. The only numbers I have are NS8B and 3B2-1 can anyone tell me the age of this motor and if it is a decent motor?
This is the last of the 2-stroke 8/9.8 motors. Decent motor, light and strong. Year is unimportant, but if curious, check with Nissan marine at http://www.nissanmarine.com/contact.html with s/n and they may have records.
