Nissan ns40c wont start

I have a ns40c 1990-95 model??? Will not start... Replaced plugs.... Carb. Has been cleaned...gas oil mixed at 50:1... Burn high octane fuel....ran fine until,, a small nipple with a small fuel line attached seamed to melt and come loose from the small brass nipple located below and slight forward from the bottom spark plug.... Could not fine part from nissan... Was told to jb weld the part back onto the brass nipple... Its a push on connection... Did that... And still no fire???? Any ideas at all??? Was told this was a good motor ... But not really sure any more.... Thanks for any help you might have

How about posting some clear pictures of the problem, better than one hundred written words. Does the engine cranks normally or with sound, seems you are talking about upper lubrication pipe which has a internal check valve, if stopped working and were unaware you could have developed an internal upper bearing damage ? M-40C is an excellent light horse with punch.
