Nissan NS50D testing spark without key

How can I check for spark and compression on this motor? I have the controls but no key. Not sure if I need to hotwire it or have a key made. Thanks.

Ultimately you will need a key. There are 3 possible keys. If you pull out the key switch, the key number will be on the switch. You can jumper the solenoid to crank, but will need to disengage the brown kill wire to run.
