My current prop of my '92 NS90A has "A17" stamped on a blade. Would this mean it is a 17" pitch?

In the Nissan part book there is a prop listed as

"3B764-5360M Propeller A17 (13.54X15.75) Ameterpitch"

can someone enlighten me on what the pitch of the prop may be.

Thanx

Its a 13.5" dia. and 15.75" pitch right hand 3 blade aluminum Nissan/Tohatsu prop.
As I stated in your other post on this same subject, the A17 is probably from a prop shop stamping it for ID purposes.

The A17 means something more than a generic stamp for ID, but since my last post I noticed it in the parts cat with A17, and since its hard for me to get a a prop shop, I figured one of these Nissan Tohatsu guys would be able to help me with this, theyve been right on almost all my other questions?

thanks!

The A number is a peculiarity that goes back to the 80's. Never made any sense to anyone in the U.S. as to why it was off from the pitch by so much, but it was consistently off on every pitch until they changed the numbering system about 7 years ago.

so would I be correct to assume that according to the parts manual the pitch for this prop would be 15.75?
