NMEA Interfacing

Can anyone give me any tips on interfacing a Garmin 185 GPS with a Furuno FCV-600L and Mercury Smart Tach and Speedometer.<br /><br />I want to display navigation data on the Furuno Graphic Display and GPS speed on the Mercury Speedometer.<br /><br />Would be grateful for any information anyone has before I try to do it.

Sure,<br /><br />Its an easy connection setup to make. All I need to know is the wire colors for your NMEA input for the Tach/Speedometer. Also, you will need the data cable for the Furuno (about $35 most places) and it won't come with a wireing diagram --- not a problem.<br /><br />Thom
