No Electric power

I bought a 2003 Sea Chaser yesterday with a 90 Mercury 2-stroke. The only "problem" with the boat is that the fuel gauge wouldn't work. So, I got home, popped the gauge out and started testing wires. I must have arc'd a wire somewhere because now the ignition, starter, and trim aren't getting power. I have searched the boat over looking for a fuse block or ignition breaker and can't find anything. There is an inline fuse at the battery, but it still good. Each accessory has a separate breaker, and none for ignition. Test light shows battery connection is good, also. Any suggestions??????

Re: No Electric power

Once again folks -- the fuses in a boats fuse panel DO NOT have anything to do with the instruments. Instruments are almost always powered from the "A" terminal of the ignition switch which gets its power up the engine harness. That's why the fuse at the engine kills instruments. The fuse panel is powered via the two smaller #8 or #10 gauge wires directly from the battery.
