I have a 1981 7.5 gamefisher with the electronic coil. Is there anyway to bench test these? I have found a place that still has them for $180.00. Hate to invest that much on an old engine.
I believe that is built by Eska.It uses a Tecumseh Powerhead.Parts are available at Cerified Parts Corp or possibly a small engine shop.
At $180 dollars definately not worth the investment.Take that money and put it toward a Johnnyrude 5,5.5,6,7.5 or 8 hp.even the 5 hp will out perform
that 7.5 and be smoother and quieter as well.And routine parts are available right here at iboats among many other places.I think the 5,6,7.5 and 8 hp are all about the same weight.
