no fire

I was running my 1988 johnson 50 and tried to trim It up when i hit the trim button the motor died and now i have no spark. any ideas thanks

i would check for burnt shorted wire, even in the control box. will the starter engage?

yea the motor will still turn over. i have disconected the control plug from tne motor and jumped the starter solinoid and still no fire. maybe the stator ahs gone out?

I Pulled The Flywheel Off And The Motor Has A Power Pack Assymbly Where The Stator Is Located, What Should The Ohms Be On This, Part#583984
