just picked up a '63 last night (my 1st boat motor) and noticed that it only has a low speed adjustment knob. is this normal or am i missing something? i thought these were basically the same through the years and i could swear iv'e seen some with both adjustments on them. 
got it all torn down and cleaned today, all the hard parts look to be in great shape. new coils, points, condensors, impeller, and head gasket should be here the next few days.
