Despite that recent event I have actually been toning it down too. Gonna miss you though, and I have to say I never really understand the heat issue. FWIW, I could be a flaming liberal posing as a conservative, so I just don't get the need to bow out.

go fishing?
yep thursday I leave caracas again for the rio chico canales and the tacharigua lagoon. the snook and tarpon(robalo and sablo) are getting hot this time of year. mostly top water action with canal trolling in the midday.
christmas is another jungle trip to lake Guri for peacock,payara and morocoto.
so yep lets go fishing politics will be just that, more of the same I fear.

Yep, he was an HONEST man that came through by falling on the sword.

Honesty is lacking in society. I see it everyday in my business. Honesty has been taught as being "stupid", "uninformed" and just plain not the way to get ahead-----in our schools. My sons tell me about it every day. They're honest, their teachers are NOT.

Their teachers are 60's leftovers that dodged the draft and got themselves "over-educated".

I've had opportunities to challenge the teachers and have found they have their "opinions" and facts do not matter.,

So, where does that leave us.

Yep, he was an HONEST man that came through by falling on the sword.business.

Now that is a completely new version of honesty.
A crook who accepts bribes and evades tax.On top of that he is up to his ears in the Watergate scandal.
I hope that I never have to deal with that sort of honesty.
No I will not mention the political party that put this crook in the vice presidential position.

We live in a "Its not wrong if I don't get caught" society. I have seen more people fired in my line of work for internal theft than anything else. Not a single one felt bad about it...............just mad they got caught

I'll bet you are working with the under 21 crowd? They have all been taught, by parents and schools, that nothing is their fault, they are the apple of the worlds eye, and it owes them a living.

Just keep firing the a** holes and keep the ones that have a clue. 8)
