I'm having trouble finding a dip stick and tube that will work with my setup, Its a fresh 350 that was run maybe 15 hours last summer. Its a port side dipstick and cant seem to find one, the guy whom I get parts from suggested ordering the 2 that it calls for. I'm not worried about changing the oil by vaccuming from the dipstick. I installed a automotive one from autozone last year but it leaked oil so I closed it back off. Will a newer style from a later 350 work? Does anyone have any recommendations? I have even pondered the idea of a universal flexable one. But this one is supposed to come up between the valve cover and the manifold if I had the correct part. It's nice to be able to check the oil. Any help would be appreciated.
