Re: no power help

If everything is good then it should go!

You said the timing is good. Does the timing advance work?

You said the carbs are good. Have you tore them completely down and cleaned them and set the floats?

You said the spark is good. How did you test the spark?

You said the compression was good. What were your numbers?

More info!

Re: no power help

Yes I completly removed the carbs and cleaned them. Yes the timing advance works. The comprestion is beteewn 120-130. I tested it by holding the spark plug close to the motor and I have a nice blue fire. I working on it now can you answer me as soon as posible. Thanks

Re: no power help

from what you're saying everything is perfect but you wont answer questions. do you have a manual?did you do a link and sink? what is your timing reading?

If the motor is sucking in massive amounts of fuel, your carbs must be screwed up, or you don't have that good spark, you think you do. The plugs have to be installed and a spark checker is needed to determine if you actually are getting good spark under load. Did you put a timing light on each wire and watch if you were getting controlled spark to each cylinder? When you took the carbs apart did you rebuild them or just clean them?
