I have a 96 bass tracker with a 25hp tracker motor. 2 stroke of course. Went fishing today and the motor seemed to have no power at all was even a bit hard to stay running. Had to keep it partially choked and find a sweet spot with the throttle just to keep it putting along.
The boat sat for a while but I would start it every so often and had seafoam in the gas (couple gals). I added two more gals in the tank. Wednesday the motor started fine and ran good at all throttle settings, made sure water flow was good and shut it off, Thursday started the motor and everything was still fine.
Untill today when I put it in the water. When I got home I put a timing light on each cylinder to see if one was not firing, both seemed fine, timing light strobe flashing away. So I figure it's a fuel issue. But the motor seemed to run just fine at any throttle setting. So im a bit confused, ran good before and after I put it in the water. But not in the water.
