No Power Trim

I was recently given a 1978 Glaston Tri-Hull with a 1977 Johnson 85HP(85EL77S). I had to redo stringers and transom, so we took it out and it would start to aerate(right word?) when we got up to around 25 or 30MPH. I have always been on power trim boat, my question is what pin hole do I use and any tips on trimming the boat. We are hopefully going to ski/tube today if the weather is good.

it is an experiment. closest to transom, get bow down more quickly but could cause bow to plow, all they way out will cause bow rise, and slow out of the hole progress.

I have heard just shift weight when you have people in there, so I will experiment and see.
