I did purchase a 12V test light yesterday at your suggestion, and did the test with that as well. Thank you for your help with diagnosing this. I will go ahead and purchase two new selonoids. The worst case is that it does not correct the problem, and I have to take the selonoids back.

Electric parts are allmost never returnable Thats why i wanted you to be sure first :)

Yes, thank you VERY much for all of your help. I will try to install those parts tomorrow, and we will see. You all have been extremely helpful, and I really appreciate your patience with a newbie. d:)

Final Result:

There were two bad selonoids. I replaced the down selonoid first, and the trim went down, but would not go up with the trailer or up button. I then replaced the up selonoid, and it went up with the trailer button. I will need to replaced the trim limit switch to use the up trim button, but that is for later.

Thank you to everyone who helped me on this. I will be taking the boat out tomorrow for the first run. I could not have done this without you all.
