I have a 68 seahorse with no spark, however the wires coming from the engine are the big pos and neg, 2 black, 1 brown and one white
when I touch main termanals to the bat it turns over but with no spark
could this be caused by one of the other wires not being hooked up?
I don't want to start touching wires togeather when I don"t know what they are for.

anyone out their have a wiring dig?

It should have spark without any wires hooked up (like when rope starting). Connecting the two black wires together kills the spark and stops the engine. That is how the key switch does it.
