No spark 80 hp 1972

Hi everyone well I did all the test that were sent to me and no my problem points to the trigger, is there a way to test this or do we know it bad right now after doing the switchbox test (witch gave me a nice blue spark) Where can I find a Trigger for this motor and are the costly. Thanks Bob

As long as you have fire arcing the system but none when your cranking it over you definitely have a bad trigger.

Hi cant seem to locate a trigger or trigger housing for this motor. I also heard that there are aftermarket triggers made for the older outboards is this a fact and dose anyone have a web page that I can check it out .Thanks Bob

Hi sorry it took me so long to get back but every thing is back together and I started the motor up only for a few seconds (2 to 3 seconds) and she sounded good now I have to tweek it in try to get it right. I would like to thank everyone for the help that was given and time spent on me and my motor. Thanks. Bob
