No spark at plug

I have Just got a 12hp sears roebuck and co.<br />Model # 571 58802 I have not been able to find any information on this motor. Any help would be<br />appreciated. I have no spark, cleaned coils and flywheel. Points look ok do'nt know about condensers.

That's a 1959 motor, made by West Bend for Sears. Parts may be fairly difficult to come by, but you might check with an outboard junkyard, like tcoutboard.com. Sears no longer supplies parts for this outboard.

How did you get the spark? I have an '87 Sears and all the ignition parts look good, but I cannot get a spark. Thanks.
