No Spark

Hi its me again Hehehehehe I have a Crysler Skier 700, Model # 709H9A Serial # 4366e, I took it down to a marine shop and they dont work on Crysler boat motors and I have looked through the Q/A forum also but my motor turns over real well but no spark to it? I have put on a new cylinoid, new spark plugs and wires and new megapack, but still no spark? Any questions or just look around for a new motor??? It does turn over real well but no SPARK??? First, did you replace the wires with the correct type? Solid wire core, not modern automotive type.<br /><br />Does it have a safety kill switch?<br /><br />Really a lot to troubleshoot in the charging and ignition system.<br />Best to get a repair manual and go through all the troubleshooting procedures.<br /><br />Not personally familiar with your engine, so can't help much.

I am having the exact same problem with the exact same motor. I was told the distributor was gone in it. So i have been looking for one every since. I have found every part to rebuild the motor but have not foun a distributor. They quit making the parts for those motors along time ago and the only way you are going to find one is at a slavage yard or things like that. If you happen to find one lat me know.
