No Spark

I Have A 65 Hp Merc serial#4269783 That Has 155 Compression On All Three Cylinders They Started It Be For I Bought It With Out The Wiring Harness Being Pluged In Because They Had No Key!! I Got A Key and Plugged In the Controls And Now I Have no Spark. Any Help Out There?

You probably have the wrong wiring harness if the engine has a dist it has battery CD and needs 12 volt to run and if it has 3 coils its ADI CD and 12 volt will burn the system up.
