No Spark

1989 johnson 120 hp, just replaced rectifier, worked fine 1st time i replaced it except i forgot the gasket, took it back apart inserted gasket and now motor cranks but no spark, must have shorted something, all fuses under dash seem fine, just not sure what eles it could be, any ideas???

unplug the big red harness plug, and jump the solenoid, see if you now have spark. black w yellow tracer is the spark kill wire, make sure it is not shorted or grounded.

Thanks i will give it a try,,,,if its not grounded and i still have no spark, what would you recommend trying next?
