No spark

I have a 1989 V4 140 hp and I am getting no spark at any of the plugs. The motor was running great last season and when I winterized it. Now when I was preparing to start the motor up I am not getting any spark to the plugs. The motor is cranking but again no spark. how di I trouble shoot this problem?

Find your year and model outboard in the CDI troubleshooting guide and start from there. The OMCs start on page 30. Good Luck.

Find the black/yellow wire going to the pack and disconnect it. If you have spark then you have a boat prob. If not, you have a mtr prob.
