5.7GS with puzzling issue. Took the boat to the water and tested and of course all goes south. The issue that i seem to have that i cannot track down is the boat will not go past 10mph. Trim down or up and still no change in speed. Also used the stabilizers and nothing. Once i shut the engine off and restart it seems to be able to pick up speed as "normal". I am not sure what is causing this issue. I checked the cable from shifter to DP-SM drive and seems fine...its new. It does not have any surging or stalling. Changed water separator just for giggles and no change. This is the second time the boat has done it consecutively. The boat was purchased and i was unable to take it to the sea due to repairs. The first time the boat did it was the first time i had done a sea trial after repairs. Has anyone come across this?
