so i was on the lake today and got to a fishin spot and shut my boat down and when i went to leave it wouldent start. can someone tell me how exactly the this works. if i click the key to the on position usally all the gauges move (batt, fuel, trim, and so on. i got nothing i checked all the fuses and none of them are poped. with the key on am i sapose to have 12v going to the ign switch? i hooked up a volt meter to see if i had power goin to the ign switch and i got nothin even when i try to crank it. im thinking its either the starter seloniod or the ign switch but i just replaced the selonoid this year so im leaning toward the ign switch but not sure can somone tell me the proper way to diagnose this before i go throwing parts at it?? oh ya its a ford 2.3 with a omc drive. thanks..................
