hi all i am having some tach problems, i have been searching on here, but am confused a little..my boat came with busted gauges, so i had to buy new ones, i have a johnson side control box and a 1976 200 evinrude motor, i have the tach sender post on the tach wired to the gray wire inside the control box but nothing when i start the motor, i have the gauge grounded and 12V going to it also, and the dial on the back is set to 6C i believe but i have tried it in all positions and still nothing....so i'm thinking something on the motor is not working correctly ?? thanks for the help in advance
