The front seal usually goes first. If you leaked enough AF it could cause the motor to get hot. You'll have to check the camshaft for any groves where the 2 seals seat. If it is worn, you might still leak with new seals. You have to either replace the cam or try a speedi sleeve over the worn area. Not sure if iboats sells these seals or not. I got mine from ebasicpower.com. and 2-speddi sleeves #SKF 99087 from Amazon. Good luck
