Speaking of cold.... Its -50 without wind chill
just a few 100 kms from here
No break till the weekend, then its going to
warm up to a balmy -20.
NS, it that celcius?

u guys ever use leeches? smallies love them

why is it whenever I finish blowin the drive,
the plow comes by and fills the bottom up?
MY ,Celsius and Fahrenheit catch up with each
other at -40, and yes its Celsius.
The walleye around here love leeches. we dont
have any smallmouth in these parts but there
have been some planted in some lakes in B.C.
My favorite haunt had smallmouth stocked in the
early 1900's but they never took.
wow NS, that's REALLY harsh!
won't complain so much when it's -4F here...

nothing wiggles like a leech eh?
Bass died because it's TOO COLD! LOL
Had my ice shack up to 105 degrees last sunday. Ice fishing is lots of fun if you like to drink.

Aaron Boone is out for the season He won't be belting any homers off of the Red Sox this year!!!
Pat I love Bluegill....And I wish you'd either stop talking um,or send me some on ice!..I pay the shipping.....cause all there is down here is bass or oscars or war-mouth or specs(what ever that is?).

....forgot what else I was gonna say....have to post and come back.....

oh yea, {edit} nother post
ahh yes. ice fishing. do it all of the time here in florida. why just last week i was scooting across old tampa bay in "sidejob" with a fresh can of ice beer in the cup holder and not a worry on my mind. the sun was bright and the temp was about 71 deg. tide was a bit low but at least you could tell where the oyster beds were. this is not for everyone who likes boats, beer and warm sunshine on their balding head... ...or is it???
not me... been there, done that. will take the
boonies anyday, snow and all
prefer freshwater over salt MYself, especially
when I am the only boat in sight...
lived in Long Beach for 15+yrs and really miss the
trips over to Cat Harbor (Catalina), but all the
local CA traffic made it too much 4 me...
BTW, we landed a 52lb big eye tuna on the way
across one time
Blue Gills..Blue Cat Fish lovem..Can't be much meat on them for a meal...
Leaches are killers on Walleyes and Northerns..do a smorg on em all the time..Tie a worm on a spinner and wrap a leach around it..
