Hi guys,
please help as Im at my witts end. I had starting problems, and after changing the slave solenoid, found that the problem was due to excessive wear to the brushes in the starter motor. I have now fitted a new starter motor and solenoid to go along with my new slave solenoid. She now fires up just fine. But now I have no trim! It worked fine before. I have cleaned all electrical connections. There is plenty of fluid in the trim motor oil tank etc. But now when I press the UP or DOWN or TRAILER buttons on the power lever, there is absolutely nothing. What has happened? Thanks for your help in advance....Its now British summer time and I was just on the verge of some decent trips.

Your trim motor wire connects to the starter on the same lug as the battery connection. did you forget to connect that wire? it should be a 10 gauge wire running to the pump.
