No water coming out the Merc tell tale now?

just purchased 1993 115 mercury water was coming out pee hole fine week passed and nothing comes out help from the rookie

When you buy a used motor you must install a new impeller.-----And possibly the pee hose is plugged.----Test the overheat warning horn too.

when you buy a used motor, you need to do all the maintenance the prior owner didnt do before they sold it.

impeller, gear case service, PTT fluid service, new plugs, etc.

you did check the motor over prior to purchasing and at least did a compression test?

Ty. I ran her prior. 4500 rpm’s. Having fuel issue. I have to pump bulb seems like forever. I can hear fuel going in. I have to disconnect one end and push plunger till fuel comes out. Then she will start

There must be a leak.-----Leaking float valves?--Ruptured fuel pump diaphragm?----Bad primer bulb ?---Air leak between bulb and fuel tank , including inside the tank.----All simple for you to check.

Spiders or bees have stuffed mud into my telltale many times. I keep a piece of stainless steel wire in my boat just for that reason. It can (and has) been used for many other fixes too.

Bottom contact or operating in turbulent dirty/sandy/chunky water can cause a blockage. Last summer I had mud dobbers, or whatever they were, trying to build nests in it all the time. I kept a length of 100lb mono fishing leader to snake it out at the ramp.
