Glad you have narrowed it down. All your symptoms point to a faulty sender so I am sure you will be boating in no time when the correct one comes.

Ha more like a faulty owner. I ordered the current sensor from my phone and did not not notice there were two options. Hopefully, this new sensor will cure my problem. Thanks again bugman.

No problem. Glad I can give back some of the knowledge I have learned here while trying to cure my own faulty owner issues.

Re: No water flow to raw water pump

Hey guys, I know it has been awhile but it feels like it has been raining forever here in NJ (atleast when I want to get out on the water). Anyway, I finally got the boat out and she runs great! No cooling leaks and the temp gauge is consistent around 175 degrees. So my problem was entirely my fault- I ordered the wrong temp sender. Thanks again to everyone that lent a hand. Let me know if you are ever in the area and I will gladly buy you a cold one.

Happy boating

I bet you won't do that again. :)

It happens to all of us, and now it's just another story to tell to new boat owners when they are first experiencing trouble and you're a seasoned repair man.
