Hi I went fishing the other night and noticed the outboard wasn't running quite right. I have had the head off and replaced the gasket which had blown

I do get water when I first start the engine and it slowly stops. I have replaced the impeller and taken the thermostat out which still has no water.

I put a can of wd40 with the straw up the tell tale hole and emptied a tin in there. It did bubble up to the thermostat.

Should the housing have this crack in the bottom of the thermostat housing it don't look like a neat cut and I can't find a picture anywhere

I broke down the other night and chased it back to the head gasket. The head gasket must have gone because of lack of water.

I have replaced head gasket and impeller but am not getting water out the tell hole.

I undone the thermostat and loads of water there. I have taken thermostat out and lost it so need a new one wink wink.

Checked with a pin no blockages

Any ideas

Inside the thermostat housing it.looks as though it may be broken but I can't upload the pic to show. Does anyone have a pic of inside the thermostat housing so I could compare. The engine is running sweet but need to get water to the tell tale before head gasket goes again
