Semi- Local tackle shop has a spring sale every year around this time. Great way to break the winter doldrums. 20% off all in stock items, and they have a lot. Made my way over and picked up a new curado 150 MGL, 170$ out the door. Was feeling pretty good when I left. Then it all went to crap. Long story short I ran over my iPhone in the lot ☹️.

Anyone close to Gilbert Pa should hit them up before sale ends. “Wacky Worm”

Is that on RT 209 in Chestnut? Only 3 hours and 8 minutes away ... if you drum up enough business for them are they buying you a new iPhone?;)🤣

Try 209 in Gilbert. If you make the drive and bring your checkbook they might consider it. 😜

Actually I drive around in front of the dock to warm it up. Then do a 15 to 30 second WOT. Drop anchor close to the dock. Do a couple of hot restarts. Then go where ever.

I finally got out on the lake Wednesday. Boat ran good, electronics worked, T-motor good. The bite was tough, water temps below 50* managed one small LM. Felt good to get out.
Spent this morning repacking bearings and replacing seals on my trailer.

Hopefully get my oils changed in the outboard in a few weeks here not moving around too fast yet. Just got my second knee replacement surgery done 12 days ago so still a little bit sore. Then I hope to get out and have a better fishing season this year 😀

@FLATHEAD Did you hear they are draining Rose Valley Lake the spring of next year? It is just north of Williamsport, PA. So as of a couple weeks ago, all seasons, creek limits, and size restrictions have been voided … trying to fish the lake out before draining for dam repairs. If you are hungry for fish …

Good heads up. Did not hear about that. Never heard of that lake to be honest. Would be perfect to drag my electric only boat up there. But probably won’t happen.

My wife and I got over to the fishin' hole this afternoon and had a good time. I caught one nice little bass and she caught a bunch of bluegill, one of which was really nice. We saw a gator, a coyote and a doe as well. A pleasant time.

Hit the lake this afternoon for a couple hours windy as heck. Ran to the spot I wanted to fish dropped the Garmin T-motor. Much to my surprise it was acting crazy and wouldn’t respond to foot pedal or remote. Had to scramble to fire the gas motor before I got blown into the rocks. Was too close for comfort. Turns out the T- motor was updating from an update I loaded on my phone last week, even though I didn’t initiate it to start. Little unnerving! Took about 10 minutes and definitely improved the spot lock. After that all went well and even managed a respectable Pa. Bass.
