I am new to boating, I have a 94 Searay 200br with an Alpha One 5.0LX with 400 hours on it. I have noise when making hard turns. I pulled the drive out the cross bearings and gimbal bearings seem fine. Can this be cavitation from a worn prop not sure how to determine when a prop should be replaced. Attached is a pic of my prop.image.jpg

can you describe the noise, does trim adjustment affect it?

If your turning and your prop gets closer to the surface the noise would be an increased motor RPM and a lawn mower noise of sorts as air is being introduced into the water around the prop. Would need to see a pic of the other side of the prop to be able to tell if there are ventilation burns on it.
