I have a 150 Evinrude (E150TLCEM) motor, the trim/tilts seems to work great cut make noise like it's empty. I raised the motor and removed the fill screw and a little fluid came out, I assume it's full.

What is the correct way to refill the resovor?

And can low fluids cause a squinking sound when raising/lowering?

Thanks for any help... I did try reading some other post but couldn't find the same issue.

Yes, bleed the system by running it up and down to its extremes a few times and re-check fluid level.
It can happen if the engine was stored laying down on its side, bought mine strapped to a pallet and had to refill it.
