non model specific manuals

What am I better off with a SELOC manual or a Ken Cook manual that is listed as non specific to my 1990, 20hp,evinrude ? Why in the world is a 16 year old motor so darn hard to get a O.E.M. manual for? Was 1990 a bad year for evinrude 20hp'S and they just want me to forget about it and buy something else? The best advice on I have seen here is to get a good manual. I'm doggone trying! That poor girl JESSICA at Ken Cook aint sure what she does and dont have and is a little short with folks who just want ta know if what she does have covers my motor Thanks alot.

Stillfishing, ? What? What is the bluff here? I buy a Lowe 14' flatbottom boat to take my 2 grandsons fishing on cheep enough that happens ta have a 1990 , 20h.p. evinrude engine on it, I asked and was refered to this sight to ask and learn about this rig and thats what I am doing . Paul has been kind enough to help me out when It seems others have chosen not to reply for what ever reason. BLUFF! I dont doggone get this place. I dont know how you were raised " dont care" but I was raised to take a man at his word plane and simple.! If you dont want to help thats fine and dandy sports fan but why in the world would you want to say something like that to a fella clearly trying to help ? someone.????
