Non-standard seals?

My used Diamond City boat trailer uses 1-1/16 inch inner and outer bearings and 1-1/2 inch nominal grease seals. All the kits I have found in the 1-1/16 size have 1-1/4 inch seals with them, so I have to find seals separately. The spindle welds look to be factory. Is this combination a cobbled one of a kind, or standard for some? Sure makes it hard to find good seals locally.

If you need reference sizes for standard axles, look at ChampionTrailers.com. Their website has great info on everything about trailers.

The vast majority of trailer parts are generic, and not specialized sizes.

Ayuh,... Whatever seal you've got has a Part Number on it...

Match the Part Numbers, 'n you'll get the same seal...

It had single lip automotive seals in it. Found the correct double lip seals but they don't come with kits for 1-1/16 bearings. I called the manufacturer and described the axle. They said it is not an axle they would use, so a previous owner must have changed the axle for some reason. Looks like a 2,500 pound axle from a utility trailer, instead of the standard 2,000 pound axle from the mfg. I will have to buy the bearings and seals separately from now on.
