I just signed up for the forum, great wealth of knowlodge on here. We have an 86 Four Winns Horizon 190 with the merc 170 3.7l that my Grandpa bought new in 86. He passed shortly afterward therefore leaving the boat in the garage with little use over the last 15 years. After doing the water pump seals and painting/resealing the outdrive, it's been a great boat with plenty of torque for skiing and a decent top end for cruising.
I spent 4 days cleaning her up last year and brought it home. We just hit 200 hours last year on it, runs great.
I've spent some time upgrading electrical, stereo, and interior lighting on it.
I know my boat inside and out, but my buddy just picked up a Bayliner with a Volvo, which I know nothing about. After searching the forum, we were comfortable pulling the bellows. Thanks for the help!
