Thats a really nice sound bite JB, but it don't alter the fact that American companies are more interested in investing in foreign lands than here at home.<br />How many Anerican made products do you think that Walmart sells in all of China?

Norway is a very deep socialist country. They will run themselves out of the oilfield because of their insane environmental regulations.<br /><br />Nothing is made in Norway because labor is way to expensive. The guy at Mcdonalds gets 25 dollars/hr.<br /><br />Wal Mart in China is doing pretty good. I was dissapointed that they did not sell any of the same products that they sell in the USA.<br /><br />Ken

Maybe disappointed but not surprized. Wally world is after the same not a monopoly that Exxon has and when it gets there we will see more shortages.

actually the guy/girl on mc donald makes 14,6$hr...<br />the oilfond in norway is not allowed to make money on landmines or compagnies exploiting workers or destroying enviroment....we are not exactly bankrupt when we have aprox 250000$pr person in this contry in the oilfond...

wo-max, I agree Norway is no where near bankrupt. They are wallowing in billions of krones.<br /><br />I dont see how the citizens take it. The gov could cut your taxes and be in good shape for years to come. Ya'll need to revolt.<br /><br />The funny thing is that, Walmart has been accused of doing all these things for many many years. Why all of a sudden is Norway getting a conscience?<br /><br />Ken

well... we changed goverment last year...so now to many redwinged are trying to do their best(worst)...<br />and we are trying to feed the whole africa...well..not so many left there... they are all here on welfarebenefits..so i know where my taxes are going....

dark? today the sun was up to 23.00...and it was 26 degrees celsius today... and the summer is just starting...in the north the sun is up 24hrs...but the winter in N-Norway.. not for me ....

Yea, I know I came at the wrong time. I was there Nov-Feb. Really want to go back in the summertime.<br /><br />Hope your gov can get things straight. I am not implying that the USA is. But talking to most everyone over there, many were fed up with the high taxes and the freeloaders.<br /><br />Ken
